We have a hot with a gazebo. The chlorine content is quite high since we can smell it when we enter. Will the chlorine affect the plants when the water evaporates into the air?

Can I overwinter my tropicals in my hot room?
boy, thats a really good question. chlorine will affect a plant in the ground. i hope someone answers this as we are going to be doing the same thing one day. our courtyard is screened on top so ours will have a way out. you might end up with a bug or fungus problem if it's too humid tho.
tracksand, I put a couple of annual hanging baskets in it for now. I won't be overwintering them anyway so if I loose them I won't be so upset. It is not winterized yet though. We still have it opened a lot so it gets a lot of air circulation. If I keep a fan in there this winter would it keep the fungus down?
i think that might help. not to blow directly on them, just circulate the air. debi
who knows chlorine vapor i dont know about but chlorine in say tab water is good as it aids in the elecrictal somethingoranother that helps the plants set deep roots but try it with a few and see what happens.
