Hi all,
two days ago Jekka McVicar(she is the best well known herb expert in the UK and her name is big here) held an open day at her herb farm, which is just outside the city I live in (Bristol) it took less then 25 minutes to get there. When we got there she showed us around the herb farm and at the end we(me and mum) bought lots of herbs, including Lemon Balm, Rosemary 'Fota Island', Viola odorata and Greek Oregano.
At the end I met Jekka, she signed the book we bought there and she invited me to come to a big flower show thats held near here in May.
I had a reallyg ood time and I cant wait untill the next open day in spring.
She also said she takes up apprentices, so chances are Il be working at her farm in due time too

Unfortunatly, we didnt bring the digital camera :( But Il be going to the next open day in spring and il make sure I bring the camera with me then
It sounds like you have a wonderful lifetime memory without the photos. I think those are special.
