I have a thiry gallon aquarium but less than a third is filled with water. What size aquarium heater should I buy? 200 watt is for about 30 gallons but I'm sure they mean when the aquarium is full.

Do I still need the 200 watt (and I can just set it to the temp I need or would it overheat the water?) or a less powerful one?
