Good for you. Mine is out there someplace......I hope it will bloom for me. I had it before and liked it.

does it smell?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't remember. It's been about three years since I've had it, but most do have fragrance in the evening, so I'd bet this one does too.

Hi! Lookie there. You are going to love this. It blooms constantly in our climate. I have cuttings taken in early June that are blooming now. It does indeed smell. My monster is in the midst of another flush as is its little brother (only 8' tall) that will soon go to zostropz' house.

I have a couple of brugs that I have had for almost 2 yrs with no bloom. Am threatening them with the composter.

Is there a brug that does not smell?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I had a white suaveolens that didn't have any smell. None. Otherwise, most of mine have had a least a faint fragrance, but most are heavily scented.

My husband works at night and gets the full brunt of eau de brug as he goes out to the car. Species is my smelliest. She is quite something. She goes into the ground as soon as little brother goes-right along the walkway to the front door.'

I just wish I could get my "supposed to be a double white" to bloom. The fool thing is 6 foot and nary a blossom.

What's a KBS?? This is my first year with Brugs.

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

She looks great ! The current flush on my plant is much lighter that the previous ones that opened in the heat. The marine layer has hung about and kept the temps cool the last few days so that the flowers are quite pale as are the blooms on butterfly.

Here is KBS.

Congratulations! Very nice bloom!!

It looks as if KBS is a vigorous grower? I bought 3 cuttings ( more like little logs) and was surprised at how quickly they put out roots. Each log has a strong shoot growing already.

Thanks frogsrus, it is a beautiful flower. I loved the one that Monika posted. To have any brug flower like that one did would be to die for.
