Very nice kell. I didn't realize that hummers liked abutilon. I have never seen megapotamicum anywhere around here. I would probably have to drive down near Toronto(500 miles) to find it. Did you grow that from seed, cuttings or did you buy the plant?
Luv the colours.

I bought the plant but they get seed heads. I do not know how they do from seed. I think only my bigger sized flowers abutilon have the seedheads now that I am thinking about it. I wonder if they self pollinate or have to cross pollinate. There are incredible ones now. I have a good size collection. The LIttle Imp has the best color. But it is a bit bigger than a lot of the ones I have. Did you notice the Seashell one I posted yesterday too?
It is a mini. It is the colored sepals that does the trick. Adds so much interest.

I am starting lots of them for my friends. If I have any left I will think of you. I have had rotting though on some, so I do not know.

PS. Yes the hummers go nuts now in my courtyard. They are so loud. They love them. In fact that is how I g t my DH to help me redo a bed for them. I told him we would get lots of hummers, he hates plants but loves hummers. LOL. And it came true. Our hummer population has really grown.

Thanks for thinking of me kell but I live a long way away from you & it wouldn't make it through customs. But I appreciate it.

Glad to hear you got your flower bed redone for the hummers. I have one bed that is strictly for the hummers too & then plant for them throughout the other beds & pots. It's funny how they can brighten your day & make you smile.

Oh LOL, I didn't notice.

They have so much character. I do not like the look of them from a distance but love them up close.
