Hi all. I'm not sure where to post this question so if this is the wrong forum, please let me know.
I would like to put in the same pot the following: Siam Tulip, Calla Lily, Rheo (Boatlily), and Polka Dot plant because they all can take partial shade and have the color scheme that I'm after.
Will this combination work? I've read that the Siam Tulip likes to stay dry in the winter, after the bloom dies down, or it will rot. I know that the other ones will need regular watering. Any comments, warnings, advice? Thanks in advance.
question about Siam Tulip
well, if I'm not mistaken, siam tulip is a curcuma, in the ginger family. Must be because you are in z10, but in the winter I usually don't water anything and let nature do the watering. My initial thought would be that they can be grouped together, summer or winter, but I wouldn't give them any water beyond nature in the winter. (I'm in z9)
