I'm going to be looking for twinflower seeds to collect. If I find any where I can collect them I'll let you know.

Cincinnati, OH

I can send you the appropriate fungi (Rhizopogon, Pisolithus) now and Chimaphila maculata in the spring. Bolete mushrooms (Porcini, etc.) are also beneficial and tasty. But I don't have any. Send me your address. I am absent minded so you will have to let me know in the spring. The fungi and the Chimaphila must be planted near your Monotropa. These fungi will not contribute to Monotropa but the Lactarius mushrooms of your Monotropa will colonize the Chimaphila. Alternate locations would be under a pine or fir or near one of the other Wintergreens: Pyrola, Gaultheria or Sarracenia.

UUallace,

My address is:

Brian Bourassa
53 Lamoille Terrace
Milton, VT 05468

If you send me the fungi, is it something I need to chop up and spread near the Monotropa
or plant nearby. The ground is getting colder and colder here, no snow, but probably begining to stiffen up some.

Thanks

Brian
