These cats are in an oak tree by my driveway. Anyone know what they might become?

I think your caterpillar's could be Peigler's Oakworm Moth (Anisota peigleri)

Kennedyh - sure looks like them. I haven't seen that moth, but I'll keep a look out for it now I know what it looks like. I think the tree is a water oak like it says on that site. Thanks for the ID. Becky
