Hi guys and gals,
I have been planning on going to the Dallas Plant Swap (11:00am Sunday, 9/25), for some time. I have some plants to take and some to pick up, but mostly I want to meet our northern family members. I think it will be great fun!
Problem is... you guessed it, GAS(oline). I thought I'd check to see if anyone else from this area is interested in going. Maybe if we share the ride and the gas, it will be do-able?

Maggie, I feel so bad nobody answered. I guess everybody is in shock about these ridiculous gas prices and have put a lot of activities on hold. DH and I are trying a little harder to run our errands together to save on gas.
Yes, that's what I figure, too. It's the reason I can't make the Dallas trip on my own. And, given the tragedy this past week, I almost feel guilty about trying to do something "normal" in my life.
Well, there will be other opportunities to meet our northern family. Sylvia is still planning to come down for the Maas trip. :-)
Mary, don't give up yet, there are still 3 weeks left, and who knows someone may come forward, but I understand your point, it is too expensive, and there are others who need it more. Josephine.
