Does anyone here have any actual experience with this plant? I assume it's pretty darned new.

Lastly, if enough people are interested, I am considering buying some of these from a commercial grower to keep inside for the winter and then use to border two of my tropical gardens this spring. Thing is, he will only sell a whole flat or nothing at all (that's 60+ plants)

I was left the impression that it would be slightly over $100, but I am still working out the details.
Okay, here's the skinny: they max out at a foot tall and have very similar characteristics of the Black Magic (more sun == more color) Have NO info on whether it is a clumper, crawler, runner, etc. Just not sure if I want 50+ plants to schlep through the winter.
I would be interested in some- I'm increasing my EE and Gingers for next summer.

I have grown it, I got 10 of them early this spring. not to fond of them. I think I have 10 now. does not seem to be a heavy puping plant but maybe next year it will be.
