Red Epi

Finally my red epi that bloomed last year is finally making buds. It probably took so long because I was trading lots of cuttings.

I didn't think so....lol! I bet you got some really purrrty ones off ebay. I hope it grows fast enough so that I see the blooms before the frost.

Another update. It's been 8 days since the last picture and it still hasn't completely opened up.

Boy, that is taking a long time to open !! Keeps you waiting. Are those more buds on the end of the leaf?

Bought my first (dozen or two!) Epies this summer and of course won't have blooms til NEXT summer.....but now I know what to look for.
