Clare, are you sure about this vareity?
It doesn't seem to look a lot like the one in my book passion flowers of the world, close, but not quite the same.
Platyloba Passiflora ?
Definately is not Platyloba, I can send a pic when I get home, mine is in bloom. It does however look like it could be Sprucei.

Hi Mark,
I t looked like Sprucei to me also.
Very sweet fragrance so much it hurts my nose to smell!
Sprucei is very sweet. I just realized that I forgot to send my pic, I'll look for it tonight.

Things happen, don't worry about it,I like it too!
Did I get you hooked on Epis now!!!!
Another beautiful one to look for. I don't know if I've seen seeds for this one.
:) Donna
Oh, good, Don. Yes! I love my epi's -- especially your white night-blooming fragrant one! Hugs:-)
Hi Donna! I don't think either one sets seeds. I think many of the hybrid cultivars are sterile. You would have to get a rooted cutting anyway to ensure that you get the same cultivar as most passiflora seeds don't come true. The ones that do set seeds have to be crossed with a different passiflora in order to set seeds.
Oh that's right....zostropz I think told me that one time.
:) Donna
OH, so much to learn!
