The hibiscus was leaning, but putting the tomato cage and anchoring it with the pavers has helped. Today it is standing up. I think it must be getting top heavy.

I need advice on a leaning hibiscus tree.
We often have leaning hibiscus (especially after a storm!) I hammer a dowel deep in the ground, and tie a piece of twine, or something similar, around it--securing it to the hibiscus, to pull it straight. It takes a long time for it to be self-sufficient...but eventually it will. Also something soft under the twine helps to prevent it cutting the branch.
Depending on what it looks like, I also fill in the empty places with soil.
Good luck!
Thanks, Kitty. The tomato cage has helped, but I don't like keeping the blocks there. The hibiscus lost a lot of leaves, but it has bloomed again, so I am hoping it survives. I think heavy rain had caused mine to lean so much. It's mostly top heavy. I think I'll try the dowels, especially since it has outgrown the tomato cage. Now the rainy season is pretty much over, so I hope it gets strong again.
