Before and After...

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

You know you're addicted to plumerias when...

...you take an entire row of roses out so that you have more room for your plumerias!

Here's the before from 2003. I had just put these roses in:

Sorry the picture is a little blurry, but you get the idea. Bye, bye, roses! At least I have a couple more bushes out front:-)

It was getting a little crowded, and they are only going to get bigger. Here are some more of mine:

This is actually a non-operational pond filtration system. It is serving as the perfect place to keep my seedlings!

Now, I actually have some room in the back for when they are repotted to larger containers:

Clare, you have got it baaad, don't you? ;-) I look at my roses and see my huge water bills and very few summer blooms because of the heat. I go "Hmmmm". :-)

Oh My! My! My!
Poor Clare,
We gonna hafto send you to the JL Plumie Recovery Center!! ;)

LOL, Judy. I went "Hmmmm...too" and out they came! Truthfully, every year about this time they would look terrible from mites and rust and mildew, and I was always getting stuck with thorns anyway, and pruning is a pain...literally and figuratively. Now at least I can smell my plumeria blooms without having to bend over three or four other plants. I have two big bushes in front also so that made the decision easier; otherwise, I might have considered transplanting a couple of them.

Michael, I won't go! You can't make me! LOL! "Hello. My name is Clare, and I'm a plumie addict."
