My kids found this this morning outside our front door. They now have me on a search to find out what it is. This one is dark but the next one will be a better shot
What is this?
Here is a butt shot. The rest of it is dark in color but I thought maybe this shot would help

I've had these same caterpillars on my elephant ears and on a few other things. They seem to be loners, but can eat a lot!
