Bward may not have electricity this morning. I have Elizabeth and it is blooming beautifully this year. Although beautiful, it is not fragrant. Got this thanks to JustmeLisa about 3 years ago. She bought several and we sent her the money for them.

Nashville, TN(Zone 6b)

That is beautiful. I don't have that one but my others will be blooming soon.

That is beautiful. I have the red, white and a gold. I need to start looking again.

DH just loves DG. Has DG been named in a divorce suit yet... LOL ;)

I continue to try and contact Barbara via her cell phone and house phone.. no luck. Hattiesburg sustained winds of 95 mph. As soon as I hear from her I will post here in the tropical forum and in the weather forum. The same goes for Gaylams (Kay).. all I have for her is her home phone and have not been able to get through.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks Trish. I am really worried about them all. I just turned off TV. It is too much devastation for me to take in right now. Too many people will be suffering for way too long. When I look around at my house and yard and think how I would feel if it were all destroyed that I love so much, I get such a terrible feeling inside.

Knoxville, TN

Has anyone heard from Barbara?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I heard she was OK and had little damage.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Mel... I spoke with Barbara several days ago. She was going to finish up things around the house and then they were heading up to her Mother's place for a bit. She is fine.. and had some damage to her house and lost her hoop house but not her greenhouse.

Knoxville, TN

Thanks Trish! I am relieved to know she is ok and she did not loose her greenhouse.

Here's one that I got from Kay. This one is called Beni-Oiran. I sent Kay an email to see if she is all right. Hopefully, she will respond soon and let us know that she is okay.

Kay and I are both ok. I talked to her the other day and we are all just going through the process of digging out and hauling off debris. We both had damage to house and no power for a long time. No internet service.I have to go to library and check email when I can. Lost a lot of my gingers when they were crushed by felled trees. I can't even find the tubers. Maybe they will pop up in the spring and give me a good surprise.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Barbara... in the spring, if you see some that didn't come back let me know and I'll gladly dig my swamp up for you!
