Hey, there fro SE Michigan!

SE, MI(Zone 5a)

I finally decided to join Dave's gardens. I've been looking for an active gardening forum and am hoping this is the place.
I have several rosebushes. I also have perennials and annuals in my garden. As well as the required basil and tomatoe plants, LOL
And, oh yeah, I have a few houseplants!

Hoping for help on gardening issues. And sharing what I have learned. :)

Welcome to DG. If you wanted an ACTIVE place, this sure is it. You may find it requires a lot of will power to move away from the computer. (I've been known to turn my off).

If you're a zone 5a you might want to look at the Cool Climate Gardening forum. We were comparing conditions in various places - all zone 5a earlier today.

Hope to meet you in other discussion forums.

SE, MI(Zone 5a)

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome all!

Could you point me in the direction of the Cool Climate Gardening. And tell me how to add to my watched forums?
Dave's is a different kind of forum than what I am accustomed to.

(Zone 5b)

Sure!

1. At the top of the page, under the tabs, click the link My Info.
That will take you to your member page.
2. In the box "Your Actions" click the link Manage your preferences.
That will take you to your Preferences page.
3. From the list on the left of page, click the link Forums.
That will take you to a list of forums that you can pick as your favorites.
4. Click the checkbox for each forum you want. An empty checkbox means the forum will not be on your Home tab.
5. At the bottom of the list, click the Submit button.

Then click the Home tab at the top of the page, and you'll see only the forums you picked.

Pleasureville, KY(Zone 6a)

Hello from NC Kentucky. DG bunch is an active, talkative bunch. It is truely an addiction for me. Can't wait to turn on computer in the morning to see what the night owls talked about while I was sleeping.

Hope to talk to you in a forum soon.
