I need to know about how to take care of eggs.. so I raise chickens for eggs and pets, of course. So I have been collecting eggs about 2 to 6 daily now.. Today I picked first brown eggs from my young RIR and Barred Rock. I don't know which it come from.. I feels strongly from RIR. Anyway.. I went online and do searched.. I didn't find the good info about what to do with eggs.. clean, put in refegeriate right away or what? I wrote the dates on it with pencil so I know which is old or fresh or when they lay eggs.
Please do it asap cause I have been collecting eggs daily.. Mostly those are mixed bantams eggs.. small white eggs. I really don't want any more baby mixed bantams chickens so I keep collecting them. Already have over 2 dozens.
What I done with eggs.. I picked it up and put in a bowl and leave on the cool air room then next day put them in referigate. Hope I did the right thing?!?
