Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

When I was out spraying CUTTER last night I found all these buds on EDW X L'A she has lost a lot of leaves but the buds look good.

And I cannot believe Whiskers, she has Yd twice, NO BUGS have touched her, but she still has had no buds.

And this is Dr Suess first buds, guess I can live without all the leaves.

Good for you, Doris. I am so glad you are getting buds in spite of the bugs. You deserve the buds after all you have dealt with. You really are an inspiration. Where there is a will there is a way.

Keep posting your pics for us so we can see them all open!!

It is funny how those buds just POP up. I was watering a Wiskers cross this AM & saw 5 buds, & not tiny ones, about 1/2 way there. I was so suprised. I think that I keep a pretty good eye on my Brugs, but those buds can sure hide. I have several with med. sized buds. I hope they continue to grow. It's been getting cool at night. (50) Not growing like gang busters like they were.

Doris,

You are not alone with budless Brugs. I have a Jean Pasco that has"Y"d twice and on it's way to a third 'Y'. without buds. I finally put on some really strong reading glasses and took a good look. The buds are turning yellow when they are but 1/16" to 1/8" and dropping off. The leaves are green and no bugs that I can see, except for the odd grasshopper hole.
