I just found this picture of my very first brug. I now have a couple cuttings from her that I've rooted, so I guess you could say I have her children.

Pretty double, Mary.
Mary, that is an impressive start....no wonder you keep going!
I love the set up with the chair and lantern too. Very nice.
Beautiful setting, I really like the dragonfly lantern too :)
See the in ground vinyl pool in the background - it's going away. We finally came to a decision this weekend. My husband says that pool has been like an albatross the last few years. It's going to be filled in and that's where the greenhouse is going.
Just noticed how naked the hill was behind it then. That was in 2002. I didn't join Dave's till 2003. These days that hill is covered with lantana and morning glory. The morning glory turned out to be a mistake because it has megalomania and wants to take over the world. LOL
Mary, Its a lovey white double. What is its name? It would be nice of morning glory would behave. I love the flowers, but the plant is so difficult to keep in bounds. I would put it in the same catagory as English Ivy. Our hillside in San Jose was covered with it up to a foot deep when we moved into the house.
