Are you looking for man of the earth, white bloom, purple throat, tuber like a long sweet potato, vines run along on the ground, occassionally rooting at the nodes? It is a local wild flower (pest, if you are a farmer) and I can probably collect seed for you. I dug up one to see if it was a tuber forming species and, oh,boy, was it ever. It likes disturbed ground and there is an area near the middle school that was clear cut last year. These vines are all along the road. I try to get buy once every week or two watching what's coming back.
