Do these always bloom at night?
I have several,and they always open up at night,very fragrant as well.

Hi, mine bloomed in the shade under an American Beautyberry tree, it was quite lovely. Seeds are forming now.
My last one a couple weeks back bloomed for several days,I imagine because they weather was cool temps,but it never got pollinated,and no seeds formed,this one being in the greenhouse will more in likely result the same,nothing to pollenate it. But I have 3 seeds from last fall that are germinating now,very slowly I might add too!
But I have never had one bloom during the daytime like yours,they may have started opening but waited until complete darkness before fully opening.
