This was just too cute.

And it has such a great trunk already. It is less than 2 ft tall. Musa Cavendish Super Dwarf.

Kell, aren't those great! I have one too and I was told they max out at 4ft and can still bear bananas even though they are such slow growers. How long have you had yours?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

About 5 hours. And it isn't even mine, I got it for a friend who has been wanting it. I was looking at them in Logee's catalogue yesterday. I was thinking how adorable with that long trunk. Then there it was today. Maybe I should get myself one. LOL.

Do you keep yours inside your house or do you have a GH, Emily?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Kell! Snapping photos of others plants.....LOL

I bought some plants to take to Cala a few years ago and posted them in the plant files. People still write to ask if I will trade and I never even owned them. :) They lived here about a week.

I have this one and in the 4 years that I've had it.. it has yet to bloom... BUT.. it does stay small and the leaves do not tear like the regular nanners.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I had one of those in TN(they don't like to get cold, ask me how I know). The plant is short, but the trunk gets so big!
Chele, I remember that visit!(you still need to come to TX and I have more room here)

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Chele need any?

They pup like crazy.
I've got probably 6/pot now.
They aren't growing up but they're sure growing out.

Hmmmmm...........6 pups/plant........maybe we should rename them Badseed Bananas!

So should I get one? Is it cute forever? Trish, do you bring yours inside for winter then? My dining room is going to be so full of plants this winter, my husband is never going to talk to me again.

Chele, so what were these plants you got for Susie, that people are still clamoring for? How come you never gave me the same plants Chele?? HUH HUH HUH?? LOL

Henry, can you post a pic of yours with the pups.?? It must look like a mini banana grove.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Chele, don't tell her, she will take a midnight flight to Texas and raid my garden. Poor Bleu will be no help, he got a sticker in his foot and got bee stung and can't guard the garden!

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Cala, that pup of yours is a hoot

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

I keep mine inside once the weather cools down, but until then, I'll just let be happy outside. I've noticed the trunk is getting quite wide, considering how short the plant is. Makes me wonder if I should replant from a 12" container into something closer to a 5 gal.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Kell... mine have always stayed outside...

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

ROTFLOL Looks like I can't tell ya Kell. :)

Susie, if you weren't so far away, I would come in a heart beat and even have our sleep over in a grass hut. We had a great time last time but I doubted Bill would ever be the same. LOL

Ric, I think one or two would suffice. LOL If they pup more than I do, I better take it easy.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Consider it done Chele..............
kell..........you've got mail...............
