These are growing in the lovely gardens at our Mississauga City Hall. I'm sure they must be at least 15-18 cm. across (6").

Oh , aren't they gorgeous! I have a couple seedlings growing in my front flower bed, but they haven't blossomed yet. I'm hoping I'll get some soon. I'd sure love it if they looked half as pretty as these ones do. Thanks for sharing, Joan. :)
These beauties are growing at our city hall? Wowsers! Note to self: go check out city hall.
Thanks for showing these Joan.
Erynne
Erynne, I see that you have signed with this name. May I be so bold as to ask if this is in fact your name?
Yes, they can be seen in the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Garden, which I call the 'walled garden' because it has a wall around it. laff
There is also a rose garden. Altogether, a very nice spot hidden right in the middle of the city.
Joan
Wow, they're really beautiful. Thanks so much for posting them Joan.
Sandy
Oh my ..isn't it amazing what a few degrees will grow!

Hi Joan,
Yes, Erynne is indeed my name....just another variation of the Irish name "Erin" that my mother says she invented, lol. I had no idea about the gardens at city hall. I love the look and smell of roses in other people's gardens but from past experience, I'm terrible at growing them.
Thanks again,
Erynne
i think roses are like critters - they either like you or they don't. For me it is the latter. For my mother they grow; so i haven't told mine that mom has stopped gardening.
LOL Oh, so that's the secret! Unfortunately my mother's mini-roses must have been psychic. They got sick when she did and gave up completely within days of her passing 2 years ago. I'm definitely gonna try again though - I absolutely adore roses. Thanks for sharing Joan. --Ginny
