Do you still want Amsonia?

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Thanks 'chele '

I'm pretty full up now in my Enchanted Woodland Garden, where my gnomes and elves dwell.

It was pretty small to start with so it didnt take much.

BTW , Top of my Most Wanted list is Rice Paper plant or Giant Rhubarb(gunnera)

Any big Variegated plants like ears , etc.
I like big plants , because they hide the weeds ;-)

- don't ask for much do I ? .... LOL -

I have just revised my DG wanted list

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Scooterbug, I'd love a gunnera, was always going to order one but haven't. I was thinking I could winter it over in the g'house.

You drives a hard bargain Ma'am! LOL

I only have P. belotti http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1613672 and P. incarnata. I'd have to root either.

As far as rice paper plant, I only have one.

I don't have any big variegated ears. I do have other ears though.

I WISH I had gunnera and I will someday. :)

You left the Amsonia on your wanted list. LOL

Would you take a mouthy 12 year old? Bwah ha ha ha

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

jutz and naien , you have D-mail ;-)

Fruitport, MI(Zone 5a)

Here's my vodoo lily. It's in a 4' pot and potbound. That seems to make it send out new shoots. I guess I'll have pot em up in a bigger pot before they jump out of the pot.

yeah, i'm definitely super jealous of your lawn AND amorphophallus!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

I just grow my Amorohophallus 'Konjac' voodoos for the pretty tropicalesque foliage and speckled stems.

When they to send up flower/spathes I cut them off.

After experiencing one out of curiosity, dat wuz enough hahahahaha

Issaquah, WA

Kathyvm- you need a MUCH bigger pot for that plant of yours heh. These guys grow very large. I had one that was over 3ft tall. A friend has one now that is just inching over five feet tall. The flowers on these can grow to over 6ft tall.

An awesome plant .. but saddly not doing well for me this year in our odd seattle weather that we have had for the summer.

Chris, I do realize that the plant needs a bigger pot. It seems to give off more starts when it is potbound. I will be dividing it soon and putting all the new starts in thier own pot. When I purchased this plant it was labeled "Snake Palm". I didn't realized that it was from the vodoo lily family. I'm with you scooterbug, I just liked the foliage.

naein and Badseed, my husband appreciated your compliments about his lawn. I'm glad that it looks so nice too, considering our water bill. LOL
