Texas Gardener Breeds House Pepper

I came across this short article on the internet about a Texan who missed his peppers so much he bred one that would grow in the house. I wish it said where you could buy it though. So if any of you Texans knows this guy let me know because I want one!

No, I've not met this man, but I have grown peppers indoors. Several of the small-sized VERY hot ones make good house plants. There is a least one variety that carries both red and green fruits simultaneously and is popular at Christmastime. My favorite is Peruvian Purple because of the beautiful color. The plant needs no special care and even tolerates some neglect. I don't eat the fruits though - my tummy can't handle volcanoes.
