ok everybody, we've decided to keep Suzie!

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

here is suzie, who came to us friday afternoon. we did not want another indoor or outdoor cat for many reasons. not the least being, this is a life-long commitment, as you all well know and i dont take these commitments lightly. in years past i came dangerously close to becoming a mini-hoarder and in years recent have come to know the joy and serenity and peace of normal amounts of animals!!! LOL. altho i must say, 1 dog and 1 cat just really isnt normal to my way of thinking. LOL again. anyway, little Suzie is going to the vet tomorrow to be cleared for FLK and if the test is ok she will be spayed. its possible she is pregnant as we speak, or it could be worms. she looks to be a teenager with a pot belly, but could just be a very sveldt adult with babies. the vet will confirm or deny. we have already advantaged her and she is eating mr.tomjone's food like it is her first in a while. she is staying in the garage during the day and at night when we close it she runs out. she is waiting there in the morning. there have been many reportings of rabies in florida this year and in this county as well. i feel sure she is healthy in that respect. at any rate, she sits on my lap and "makes biscuits" as long as i will let her. her noses runs when she purrs, which my dear departed fritzie did, so that makes me want her even more because i still miss fritzie so much. so enough talk-her she is.
