CLOSED: Have: Native Blue Ageratum for postage

Augusta, AR(Zone 8a)

OFFER CLOSED

I have decided I need to thin my native blue ageratum, therefor I am offering it up for postage to anyone that would like some. BE WARNED it can be invasive! It is very pretty when it blooms in late summer when everything else kinda fades away. It looks exceptional planted with solidago. I hate to throw it away. So if you would like some let me know.

Hey Sheila,

Are you coming to the plant swap on Sept 24? It's look like about 20 people will be here. Some of them you haven't met before, like Roblkey from GW. She's going to stay a few days with me. Gail, Liz and my sis Sherry were hoping you'd come. And so was I. Wanna?

Yeah, Sheila... you gotta come!

Hi sheila,
Please note I don't need anymore. I was just commenting on just how much I liked this plant. It is so nice that you are offering it for postage. This is actually one that I love in fall. Your right about when everything else seems to go dormant this plant livens the flower bed up. I have not had any problem with it being invasive. In fact, our hard winters really kill it back..or atleast where I live in the country. My mothers didn't make it but it's probably because she plants them up on the ground. God love her, half of her stuff never makes it. If I lived closer I will actually come pick some up from you. TOO bad more people haven't responded, this is a lovely plant.

Hey Nancy and Gail. How ya girls been doing? Sorry I haven't rsvped your invite yet. I was debating whether it would be pheasable. My hubby's truck is on the frits, my car has horrible tires, and oh my gosh let's don't even talk about the gas prices. I do want to come, but just can't promise anything yet. Put me down for a maybe =/ ok. Oh by the way, you guys did a great job on the pond ;).

Thanks, Sheila! We DID work our butts off on it. I'm still not done getting it finished.... still a couple of small dirt piles I need to re-distribute around the edges and fountain piece, and of course... the landscaping. That will be the really fun part!

I understand about you situation... DH's truck, your tires, and GAS PRICES... Gosh, aren't they terrible? Maybe by then things will be better and you can come. You know we'd have SUCH a great time! And Nancy's bringing everyone to my place, too. I'm already working on having it looking spiffy when everyone comes. Just do what you can and you know we'll be looking forward to seeing you if you get to make it!

Hey Sheila, Robin is coming from FL to meet us all too. And Pat and her mom are coming again from MS. Judy and Sandra is coming from TN. Everyone wants to see you again.

Darn cars. It's always something. And right now gas is about the most expensive thing you put in 'em. Gail and I wanted to go to TX for labor day weekend and see Tana again. But at 2.60/gal, we've ditched Tana for the daylily farm in TN. LOL

Got you down as a definite maybe. LOL

I would like some of your "blue" if you still have some available for postage. Would you like me to send you a bubble mailer or just mail you a 50 cent stamp or whatever you think postage will be?
Thanks,
Cindy

Cleveland, GA(Zone 7a)

me again, sorry, I meant to say that I could send "some" 50 cent stamps, which I keep on hand for seed trading. I did not mean to imply that you would send them for only 50 cents. :-)
Whatever your expenses are would be fair enough.

Thanks,
Cindy

Do you have a pic of what your looks like? Or does one from the PlantFiles look like yours? I'm new to flowers and would be interested in getting some for postage. I too am in zone 8 and my garden is looking a little "blah". It needs some blue!

Thanks,
