Photos of my caladiums from the co-op that BuriedTreasures did last fall. All mine (4) are n pots so I can salvage them over winter. I got just 4 of each of the colors I ordered, all planted together...
Don't know where else to post these...
They are beautiful Darius! I love the middle ones. Those freckled ones are my favorite. :)
The middle one is Miss Muffett. She is pretty, but can not stand too much sun. I had about 15 pieces as big (small) as a penny, put them in a 10 inch pot and IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
They're all gorgeous! They really tempt me but having dahlias, cannas and glads to dig already, I haven't bought any of them yet. They so beautiful, maybe next year. :)
I just hope I can winter over the bulbs! They started out very slowly, but have finally turned out nicely.
Yep Darius...I ordered those as well. They are very pretty...and I also hope I can winter mine over. They really add a splash of color.
Very nice darius. I have never tried growing caladiums before but after looking at yours I sure would like to give it a try. Are they difficult to grow. Sure would brighten a few bare spots I have. Great photos.
Broots, they are as easy as any bulb/corm, just not hardy in our winters so they must be dug, and stored.
Am I supposed to dig before or after the first frost?
I usually dig mine when they become yellow, but no later than just after the first frost.
