Lantana:
white trailing - lots
purple trailing -lots
multicolored - don't know cultivar. - lots
I thought it was Irene but is showing a lot of red. Could be the heat.
yellow mounding- a little
Night Blooming Jasmine - http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/2128/index.html
Night Blooming Cerus - one rooted leaf
Coleus - solar eclipse (see pic)
Strobilanthes - Closed
I haven't sent cuttings before but am willing to do so for postage or a trade. I hope someone can use these.

I need to cut back!
Newbie dumb question: Do they need to be rooted before I send them? I'm putting off cutting so if they don't I can send them as freshly as possible.
Leslie
Hi Leslie - I would love to get some of your coleus cuttings for postage or trade see below.
Coleus can be easily rooted in water. You do not need to root them first . I have several that I have received in trade that I was able to grow this way. All you have to do is cut the stems with at least 3-4 nodes (leaf extensions) each. Wrap the ends in a damp paper towel, wrap gently in a piece of newspaper and put into a small box for shipping.
I can offer you cuttings if you would prefer to trade - Right now I have Sedum: (Autumn Joy, Neon, Matrona), I also have Mint (spearmint and chocolate mint) -
It's almost time for Hydrangea cuttings, I have ( Annabelle - Blue Lace Cap - Alpenglow - Limelight )
Hi Sue,
I'd love to try your sedum. Would you send a little bit of each?
Thanks so much!
Leslie
You have mail :)
I'd love for you to root the night blooming Jasmine for me. Mine didn't make the trip from Pakistan in good shape and died.
Arlene
Arlene,
You bet I will. We have a trade coming up anyway! Do you grow any DL from seed? I've just won a couple of auctions and can add seed as a surprise if you like.
Les
Leslie, it's late in the planting/growing season for me for plants NOT hardy to my zone. BUT next spring, I'd love a rooted cutting of night-blooming jasmine. Always reminds me of staying at my beloved grandfather's house.
Hi,
Mom enjoyed your visit last week. Just remind me when you get ready for the jasmine and it's yours.
Any news on your mom?
Thinking of you,
Leslie
Thanks, Leslie. I just sent your mother an email, asking if she can collect my mother's dress shoes from the hosp. I know she's away overnight at a retreat.
They finally stopped all meds today, except comfort meds as needed like morphine. I guess it's just a matter of time now.
You have dmail. :)

Leslie - As much as I would love the "Blushing Knock out Roses", their patent goes for another 19 yrs...
Darius - so sorry!! ~ Suzi ♥
Hi, I am very interested in the white and purple trailing lantana. I don't know anything about rooting them. But I suppose it can be done, since you're offering cuttings? I will have to email you on what I can trade that you will like. Or send me one with some wants other then what's on your "wanted" list. Because so far I only have one thing.
Thanks
Kim
Hi I would love some purple and white lantana and some Strobilanthes! I don't have much to trade since my pressure washing NightMare! I can send postage, please let me know if that is okay. I am very excited you are wanting to share!
Darius,
Does that mean I shouldn't give cuttings?
Leslie
Well, perhaps not of the Knock out Roses, since they are patented. However, my understanding of that is that you cannot root patented cuttings to sell. Don't see why you cannot give them away...
I certainly wouldn't sell them. I can't think of anything that would preclude giving them away.
LaLambChop -
Asexual propagation without the written permission of the patent holder is against federal patent laws. That includes reproducing plants for personal use as well as for resale.
from: http://www.ars.org/About_Roses/propagation.htm
If we choose to propagate them before patent is over, what incentive do we give them to make more? Besides, wouldn't want to knowingly give Dave any probs... ~ Suzi :)
Leslie,
Yes, we can include the night blooming jasmine in our trade.
Thanks, Suzi, for bringing up the point about incentives for the growers. I don't root any roses but it's a good thought to keep in mind.
A neighbor gave the the new variegated foliaged daylily, Golden Zebra, and it has the warning on the label NOT to propagate it. I'll certainly abide by the rules.
Suzi,
Disregard my d-mail! I sent it before I read your post. Thanks for the info.
Leslie
Kim,
Sorry I missed your post before. I'd be happy to send you the cuttings for postage. Please e-mail me your addy. and I'll get them out on Monday. How about 6 of each?
Leslie
Well, I'm willing to give them the 20 yrs on their patent, but watch out immed after, if I still want it and haven't broken down and purchased it!! LOL
Answered your D-mail this morning, before I saw your note here. ~ Suzi :)
OK Everybody,
The Knockouts are growing safely, uncut, in the garden; the night blooming jasmines are rooting and I sent the boxes out today. They should be there Wed. Please let me know how they do. I haven't mailed cuttings before.
Hope I'll have more for you soon,
Leslie
