I went down to see Linda and Cheryl at their campsite yesterday. Linda is missing DG very much. She wanted to say hi to everyone. She's having a nice relaxing time and they've had beautiful weather. It only rained one day since they've been there.
Linda says hi.
There are bunnies everywhere around the campsites. Linda feeds them little carrots and blackberries. I tried feeding them carrots but it's hard hanging on to the carrot to have them eat it out of your hand. They jerk them really hard and the carrots are slippery. They'll eat the blackberries out of your hand. This is the rabbit that's the most tame.
That does look like fun. I wouldn't even mind playing with the bunnies when they aren't anywhere close to my flowers.
Well Sandy, you told me you were going to visit Cheryl and Linda, I hope you remembered to say Hi to them for me. What a gorgeous place, huh? I just got back from a little camping trip to the Okanagan with DH. We went up there to visit with DD on the ocassion of her 32 birthday. Our view wasn't that nice, but we sure a a view of a gorgeous Big Blue Lake. We saw some little bunnies in our campsite wen we first arrived, but they didn't linger long once they saw our Buddy.
Glad to hear you a good time Sandy.

Oh, you're back from your camping trip already Donna. I had assumed you'd be going for the weekend as well. I hope you had a good time.
Yes, I had a nice visit with Linda and Cheryl. I said hi to them from you. We went to a farm market that was nearby. I wanted especially to get some nice fresh corn and they wanted a few fresh veggies as well. Then we visited a couple of nurseries. Mostly we looked at the tropical plants and the pond plants. I, of course, was looking for hoyas, my new obsession. I didn't have any luck there but on my way home I stopped at another nursery and found some variegated hoyas. I picked up one that has longer, narrower leaves than the one I have. I have no idea if it's a different variety or not but for $2.99 I wasn't too worried.
Wow, you really are finding the deals, Sandy. A variegated Hoya for $2.99, who care what it is. LOL. WTG! My new cuttings from Christina are doing great, so I am happy too.
No, we were only going to be gone 3 days, 'cause my son and grandson are arriving from Edmonton tomorrow and I have to clean the house like mad today. Gotta admit, I'm getting pooped from all the company this summer. But it'll be our turn in October. We have flights booked to Texas to see my stepson and his wife, and I inend on relaxing and enjoying myself. A real holiday. :)
Sounds like you had a great time in Comox. When are Linda and Cheryl getting back? Linda is looking a litle too comfortable. It's time to come back and face the world like the rest of us. :D
