CLOSED: Have hardy ribbon grass for postage or trade

This grass is great planted around a fish pond or as a accent in a corner of your yard. It does spread readily and green and white.

Thanks for answering. The reason I ask I have a green and white grass but it tends to just flop on the ground and spread. Do you have any more for postage? I would love to have some that grows straight up. Also is this the time to separate and transplant clumps?

Vicki, I would love some ribbon grass!

I have a couple of EE's but don't think they will be hardy for you. I have Illustris, and a burgandy stemmed one that flowers, also have Black Magic. I mulch the heck out of them in my zone and have still lost some in the past. If you are interested I can send you some though - they are EVERYWHERE! LOL!!

Woah .... that's a pretty tall order! If you're patient, I can hook you up with a winter hardy variety, but that might be a few weeks or more. I have one from China that looks like a cross between a red stem and a Nancyana that is supposedly hardy down to zone 5!

Winnie ---- This grass doe not flop it grows straight or has always grown that way for me..: ) also I devide and transplant all the time ,, so I would say yes it is ok. If you want some for postage please send me postage to my addy that is the address exchange with a note saying what you want.


NCGardenaddict ---- live the name lol.. I will love to have some of your EEs that you mentioned.. I can send you some ,, I will just did them up and bring them in for the winter.


Bogweedbuck--- Ok just let me know when you gets some ok.. It dont matter if they are hardy or not I love EEs and want to build my collection and I can bring them in for winter .. I would to have the one from china also. Just let me know when you get them,, but you can send me some of the others if you like for some of the grass for now... Is there anything else I can send you along with the Grass?

Cool! When would you like me to send out the EE's? I can dig them this weekend and mail them Monday. Would you like a ton of each, few of each, etc etc. They multiply SO fast. Oh and they go great in pots too! I usually keep some in the house over the winter as houseplants.

I just remember something too - I will be on vacation most of next week. Can you skip next week on mine so they don't croak? :)

vw ... I have some pups from my Black Magic. It's a bit of a runner and needs a little TLC for over-wintering (don't let the roots totally dry out, but don't let them rot either). Any fast growing sedums would be welcomed! :o)

Hey bogweed, I have a sedum with yellow flowers in the Spring - it grows like lightening. Got it in a trade last Fall and it's all over now.

Vicki - if you want I will send some to you and you can send some to Bogweed! LOL!! What would that be called a third party trade? LOL!!!
