Hiya, Sylvia! I got this guy f/Logee's early in the spring. It's an annual, so I'll definitely overwinter some of it, along with it's "siblings," 'Margharita,' 'Blackie,' and 'Pink Frost!' lol Sweet potato vine rocks! So versatile........although this guy needs more tender treatment, it's just lovely in with all of the baskets, and under the elephant ears. =)

I love it too! I got the Blackie and the Margarita...how do you overwinter yours?

Hey, Sylvia. =) I just pot them into a pot, like any other indoor plant, and keep them in a well-light area. Mind you, they don't thrive by any means (lol), but they do just maintain their existence....don't really grow or anything.......do wilt without their beloved water though! I also accidentally overwintered two pots' worth of 'Margharita' in the garage--had it in with a bougainvillea, and filling another separate basket, both of which I just let die as the weather cooled, then hung them in the garage (no special heating or light.......just above the lawnmower area.....lol). SO surprised when the "dead" plants sent out shoots and filled out their baskets when hung out again. =)

Lol...yeah the same happen to mine the one year I tried....took it to the office...it barely existed. but it did get going again. the ones i got this year have small leaves...have you seen any Blackie around with the huge leaves? I see them in a lot of commercial establishments here lately...but not anyplace I have been lately. I feel like going out at night with my trowel and pirating some. LOL!

Go for it Sedrick, but you might just try spray and grow and/or Messenger next year. My garden really responds to those 2 products.
