After moving all of my plants inside, I am going to be repotting some of them, what kind of potting soil/mix do any of you prefer? I usually make my own, but I need to water quite frequently, this poses a pain in the #$%#, all over the floor and such. I would like to buy a premixed bag, and then I will add more perlite, bark, etc. What would the ratio be. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a home depot here, some speciality garden shops. I'm open to anything!!

Potting soil/mix suggestions
I'll leave the mixes to others, since I'm still ironing out my own, but I will say don't use any mix you can buy at home depot, splurge just a little on a high quality mix like Edna's or Greenall. It's worth it.
When I am mixing mine up (like a witch's brew...heh heh)and when I think it is right, I wet it, squeeze it in a ball in the palm of my hand and if it falls apart and there are NO soggy clumps...it is just right!!
Heather...if you can grow them in a tray to catch the water, you can raise the pot from the tray just enough so that the pot isn't sitting IN the water...and the additional moisture in the tray gives good humidity!!!

Thanks you two! Actually, I do have a lot of them growing in trays, but I have a good majority of them in 4" hanging baskets. Looks like it's time to rearrane again. I will post a picture of them later today, with DH's help!
