I will also make this request in the Prayer Forum, but this forum is my home, you guys are my family, so here goes:
I just found out that my father-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer. He has been ignoring some symptoms for quite a while (we have discovered), and then it seems like the drs were playing around for three weeks as he was sent from one dr to another, each one saying something totally different (but nothing aproaching this diagnosis), until today when someone finally did a biopsy. Other than the obvious concerns, I am concerned about the delay in seeking treatment, and now in the wisdom & skill of the drs. He is suppoesed to start chemo next week, to shrink the cancer before surgery. We would very much appreciate prayers for Albert Sandoval.
Thanks you guys.

You, he, and your family are in our prayers!

in our prayers - Mitch
Mary,
I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law's cancer. He is in my prayers.
We went through the same problems with my father-in-law last year. My mother-in-law chose to bury her head in the sand and take the attitude that what she didn't know couldn't hurt. She didn't want to know. Since she was the main caretaker, it caused many problems, with my father-in-law paying the ultimate price.
I pray that things are different in your family. Being fully informed and proactive is so important. Knowing what to expect can help ease the suffering your father-in-law will go through.
Love,
Veronica
I am sorry to hear this, maggie. My prayers are for you all.
Thanks so much everyone. I have told them that my DG family is praying for him, as well as my church family. It means a lot to them. We hope to know more about what is going on next week, as their son Mike is going to go with them to be sure questions are asked. I think Al and Liz were just so stunned and scared they didn't think to ask questions.
Last year, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer @ the age of 81. It was very scary, but she sailed through it, definitely a miracle from God, and today she is cancer free. We are keeping that in mind as we start this journey with Al.
Will include him, you and the rest of the family in my daily prayers. My father-in-law had stomach cancer so I understand your worry.
He has my prayers Maggie and so do your family...will also put him on our St Vincent de Paul prayer list Wednesday. God bless you all.
Sylvia
Prayers for your whole family.
