MsCritter shout-out! Who's this begonia girl?

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

You sweetly traded her to me, and I've gone and lost the marker (due to my using a popsicle stick w/marker.........dumb, dumb). I love this begonia!!

That would be the one and only beautiful
'Irene Nuss'... she'a a blooming fool .
She can take quite a bit of sunshine to and watch out she likes to get really tall...like 6 ft!
One of my favorites!

Check the pics in the PF...

Oh, I love her, Lottie! Thank you so much for trading her to me.....she's an underplanting for a HUGELY tall brug (or, "the Tree," according to my son.....lol). I will definitely take some cuttings of 'Irene Nuss' to go in the house and flowerbeds........she's GREAT!

Thanks for ID'ing her, again, for me. =)

Kathleen,
You are sooo welcomed.
Did I send you a piece of Sophie Cecil, too???
She doesn't bloom as often but she is a looker, too.

The nice thing about the larger cane begonias is they can take a wider range of temps & conditions better than the more sucullent types. My larger begonia's stay out on the sheltered patio with no harm year round. I did cover them with a blanket during our snow we had ,but they just keep on keepin on.

So glad you like her too.
