HI,
I've just transplanted about 40 amaryllis from pots into the ground. I know usually we stop watering them now,but I'm wondering if I should water some because they've just been transplanted? This is my second year with them. Last year I just let the irrigation do it.
Thanks for the help,
Leslie
watering amaryllis now?
I have mine in the ground for 2-3 years now. They get watered with all my other plants, and of course when it rains. They bloomed ever year with no promblem.

Thanks Patti. I think I'll water them as established plants and not daily as with my other new ones.
Leslie
You don't need to stop watering them unless you are trying to force a particular bloom time. If I lived somewhere warm I would never stop. I have several that I bring inside and never force. At most, I wait a longer period between watering and that prompts them to bloom, but the leaves never die back.
Leslie ,
I am glad I could help. Good luck!
Patti
