Hey friends, I found this very odd bloom today and don't quite know what to make of it. I know it's a P. Belotti but this particular flower has me at a loss. Please let me know what you all think.
Thanks, JD
Help me ID this odd looking 3 headed Passion Flower.
Any idea's?
LOLOLOLOL I'm sorry and very onery. I just bought this "Trick Photography Triangle Lens" on Ebay and thought I'd have a little fun with it. I bet I'll be able to take some very pretty and unique pics with this baby.
Thanks friends, JD

LMBO Thanks for the laughs and not minding my goofy sense of humor;). I couldn't resist when I saw what this lil gizmo could do with the flowers.
I got very lucky and was able to get that lens to my doof for 5.75$ via a photography store liquidation on Ebay. The retail price tag on the box has a 90$ sticker! I sure wished I would of been quick enough to get in on more of the parts they were selling.
Here is another picture I took the same day. This is the same flower, I just didn't zoom in on it as much. These are the first pictures I've ever taken with this lens so I'm still learning what I can do with it. Let me know if any of you have some other ideas/uses for this lens and I'll take/post the pics ASAP. I'll get out and experiment some more with it too.
Thanks again friends;)

Oh, if you could catch a hummingbird with that lens, wouldn't that be beautiful?
I have so many hummingbirds and I've been trying so hard to get a good picture of 1. I will never quit trying, surely I'll get lucky 1 of these days.

That photo is great! Mind if I use it for desktop wallpaper? It's so artistic, yet so alien at the same time. Too bad we couldn't really find something that weird and wonderful in nature! :-)
Sure you can use it if you like. I could send it to you via email or something so it won't be covered with print. I'm so glad you guys like it. I'll take more pics of different flowers that will look similar, maybe we can make a set of screensaver's?
Thanks, JD
Passiflora "Alien Inbred"
This new lens has a learning curve with it I'm finding. Getting the focus just right is pretty difficult and what "Just rigtht" means is open to interpretation IMO. Here are a few pics I just took of P. Blue Bouquet. I'll get off the deck and into the yard here inna bit for many other types of flowers. If anyone has any advice as to what I should try to do with this lens, please let me know. I took all these pics today with a polarizing filter too. I find I get richer/deeper color saturation with it plus it blocks out a lot of unwanted glare and reflections.
Oh man, is that cool or what? P-P-P Passiflora. LOLOLOL
