I am the proud owner of 2 ZZ's. Both thriving and doing well. One I'm kind-of plant sitting although, it was origionally a gift for someone who is traveling with no end in site.....so I figure I can 'play' with that one! Other then leaf propagation, which I wouldn't have the patience for, is there another way to start another plant from it? can I hack off one of the branches with a chunk of root and expect another plant? YES! BROOKS! THIS ONE'S FOR YOU BUDDY! The plant you sent me is going through a growth spirt and I'd like to take advantage of it! After all, considering the fact that after my friend claimes it I'll be left with only one ZZ. And can I live with only one? I think not!

ZZ Plant Propagation
Hey Chrissy,
I wouldn't "hack" anything off of the last plant I sent you. It is settling in from previous division and mailing. You could always divide the first one I sent you. Works very well--email me if you want more advice. You are right--leaf prop of these is SLOW.
