Lucky seems a natural for the shelter's photo contest shuggins posted earlier. Trouble is, I can't decide which picture to send.
Short bio for those who don't know him... he showed up on New Year's Eve a year and a half a go at about 3-1/2 months old, with half his rear leg missing. It took me 2 days to get him into the live trap. He was nearly frozen to death. Really. Plus, nearly starved to death. Vets said he only had a few hours left. He lost part of his tail to frostbite, and later on had to have surgery on his toes from complications of the frostbite. Rear leg was amputated. Almost lost his ear tips too. He is an extreme mitten paw! Even with missing a leg, he still has to many toes.
He's the absolute happiest cat I have ever known, and I have known many cats!
