I have just noticed white cottony sticky 'stuff' up and down the stems of the plant at the leaf nodes and at the center of the "spoke" of the leaves. The leaves themselves are shiny and sticky like a sugar syrup has been sprayed on them. Does anyone have any idea what this is? Is there a cure?
Help! My False Aralia has the plague!
Mealie bugs. Hand removal & weekly sprays with a mix of 50/50 rubbing alcohol/water with few drops of dishsoap in the solution is a good home remedy.
