If you don't already grow it, I highly recommend Delphinium tatsiense or grandiflorum. Both are intensely blue and grow to about 18". Easy from seed but have to keep the slugs and snails away as they act as bait for them! I grow mine in a pot just to keep better control over slugs. This is D. tatsiense.

that delphinium is wonderful. I'll have to keep an eye out for
it on the NARGS seed exchange. Its just gorgeous. As are
