Beautiful! I can't imagine seeing them everywhere. What a site that must have been!
I've never heard of this one. Do we have these in the US?

These are common throughout Europe - they favoured a yellow flower and the plants were also covered with caterpillars.

Yes, I don't think you'd see these in the USA
