scoot
I have some seeds from my arborea I would like to trade for some of yours
Would you be interested in a trade????No hurry......
Just to have a different one to breed mine too
(yes I know they're self fertile)

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Of course cc , no prob ;-)

I hope we don't get another freak early frost like last year.

A friend in Manitoba had frost last night.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

NO WAY.......
Although a few years back we got heavy frost memorial day weekend........

So sad when it all comes to an end though

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Too true. Try as I may to extend the season, you can feel the end is near! I'm only picking every 2-3 days now. Boo-hoo! Can it possibly be over so soon? Seemed to take so long for summer to get here this year - now...GONZO! Not fair!

cc - did you get remnant winds from Katrina? Didn't seem so bad to me, but then I found the damage in the gardens - 2 MS-5's damaged. Both snapped right at the base of the plant. One blew halfway across the yard (tomatoes still intact), and the other was wrapped in the cage so it just blew over. I tried to cover it with dirt in the hopes that it will mend itself, but it may be too far gone. If only a few of the larger ones will just ripen for me, at least I can get a fix, and save some more seeds for next year. Guess that's the drawback of setting 2 little plants out back - all by themselves - no support system when winds kick up. I just wanted them to be well isolated so I could save the seeds.

Sorry for taking over your thread...~:-)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

some....... but more rain than anything
considering we were in a drought all summer
My duck pond dried up.....I mean so dry you could drive a car in in

its full now....from one storm

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

It sure was a nice break from watering everynight for an hour and 20 minutes - 3 night's reprieve - yippee!
