Hi, Howdy, Hola and Greetings

Well the other day I was surfing around and was about to place an huge order with a seed company when the power went out right as I went to the checkout. Was I mad ... you betcha! Well I got back online after the power came back on and was trying to find the site again and I came accross this site and the Garden Watchdog. So I looked up the company in Garden watchdog and found out they where poorly rated, very poorly rated by a lot of people. You saved me over $200 in heartache and headaches so I thought it only right that I join and give some of the saving right back to the folks that helped me save it.
So far I've been very impressed with the level of knowledge and kindness I see here. I do not claim nor will I ever claim to be an expert on anything. I've been gardening for a long time but my knowledge is still lacking and I have a lot yet to learn. I getting ready to start a hugh multi year landscaping project that will cover at least 4 acers and I hope to learn from others in both their victories and otherwise.
A brief bit about me I live in far Southwestern KY, married with child, dogs, cat, fish, and other assorted critters. We veggie garden as well as flowers, trees and the like. I remodel houses and have an art studio. I'm not one to talk about myself much my life as pretty normal as normal goes, in my eyes any way I'm sure many other woulds call me eccentric, but I don't make that much. That's a rich mans word I'll stick with weird.
I'm married to a "professional" that is not all that fond of getting out in the heat, but she tries. I have one child a girl that loves, bugs, frogs, snakes and fishing. Anything else you want to know just ask!
I am very pleased I found this site and more pleased I didn't waste a ton of money at Seedrack.com

Hello Lisa, It's an art and photography studio, sadly I don't spend as much time in it as I'd like to, but that's life. I custom paint furniture, paint, murals, about anything really just kinda depends on the mood I'm in at the time. I've even been known to do a craft or two.
Hello Dea, There are photos floating around the web, I use to keep a web site up to date and now I barely have time to check my e-mail. So the site I have is in disrepair and really old. So Since you "axed" and ya'll are so curious (which killed the cat BTW) I post an abstract style I'm currently working in ... this is not all I do just what I'm doing in this phase of production.

Dave-You couldn't have made a better choice than joining Dave's Garden. Not only will you meet people from all over the country and world on line, but their knowledge will empower you in your work around your garden. It has been one of my greatest joys in the last few years to have Dave's Garden to go to-I've made great friends here, and I even traveled all the way across America to spend time with two of them. I felt as though I'd known them forever even though I had just met them thru email. So you never know what may happen. For now, just enjoy being in the company of such a great group. Linda
