Butterflies love lantana

My lantana's are really drawing the butterflies and hummers. Here a beauty.

Yes Jim, Lantana is a butterfly magnet and a thug around here.
I am allowing one large bush to remain just for them. I will be removing berries, I don't want the birds to eat them. I'll have them every where.

Yeah they grow so large here. I have cut them back from about 8 ft wide to about 4 ft and they still want more room. Here's another bf that I made a picture of earlier.

Wow Jim, nice shots! I've tried lantana 2 years, 2 different kinds but they didn't make it. They sure do like tiG's Peanut-butter shrub tho! Tell me you have one?

Vi I have a peanut butter bush but it hasn't bloomed as yet. Azalea gave me one at one of the swaps. I was wondering when does it bloom. I heard that it would spread from seeds but it looks like it will never have blooms. It is about 4 feet tall. Hey I'll bring you several of the lantanas to the roundup. I have them growing in the ground under the bush where they have laid on the ground and rooted.

Here's a picture of the lantana. Wide shot. I have 5 of these bushes and they are always covered this time of year and just stay full of blooms and butterflies.

Jim, What kind of lantana is that. I like the pink. I only have Miss Huff and its mostly yellow/orange shades. Great b-fly pics by the way. Becky
