That is lovely. What is its full name? It is far bigger and bluer than mine. Quite spectacular.
Mine has tiny flowerheads.

Do you use it for dried flower arrangements for the winter?

mine like yours ginny is not that blue nor that large petalled. I like mine but I covet this one. Which variety again and where did you get your seeds? This one is mine and upside down to boot.

We obviously have the same one, Lynn. Mine are also lying down - too many high winds I expect.

I MUST have this one.

Also found a huge echinops at the NALS design area. Called Miss Wilmott's Ghost. Have been promised seed from this one.

Any chance of seed from your sea holly, Trailing on.?

Its full name is eryngium planum Alpinum "Blue Star".
The flower cone on top was about 3to 4" and the base was 5 to 6" and the flower is silky soft.
Yes i can share some of the seeds, i listed them under seed trading yesterday. I just harvested them yesterday. I am going out of town for a couple of days later today so if i don;t get back to you asap, please understand.
