La Petite Pink ...... Outward Blooms

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

La Petite Pink is what I call her, if anyone knows her name I would appreciate the information.

Compared to the other brugs the blooms are very small about ¼ their size and turn outward instead of hanging down, however she has a bloom on a lower branch that hangs down and is larger. The combination is very attractive.

Please look closely at the color of the leaves and give me a suggestion as to what this plant needs.

Thanks, Judy

Well isn't she cute!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Judy that looks like 'Cool Blush' with that faint baby pink color, I could be wrong but she is light like her...is she darkening up at all?

It's a petite cutie Judy.
I can't tell much by the photo. Are the leaves getting yellow or fading? Maybe a shot of epsom salt may help out.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Kin - veins dark outer part turning yellow, some look like they are starting to roll.

I would then say it is something lacking in nutritional needs. I think I have seen something that you are describing before. I believe they used Cal Mag. I'm sure someone else will come along and advise you better. Good Luck Judy.

I'm uploading the image again and have notified Adm of the image error.

Now, that's a pretty little thing. The leaves on all of mine are turning yellow. I don't know if it is from the heat, overwatering, or if they just need an Epsom Salts bath. lol

She is a pretty danty one, looks kind of like the misty valley pink one, it's really light in color too, but Man, I sure don't know how to name brugs though . I have that misty valley pink I think, will have to see how close she is to blooming.

Judy, that is so odd looking, but pretty. I thought only datura stood out like that! I am adding a pic of my first bloom on the one I got from Jim at the KYRU. It was so tiny I was afraid it wouldn't bloom but it did!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I had 7 Brugs blooming at the same time and 5 of them were pink, some mislabeled. It has been wonderful!!

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Of course they're probably scattered all over the yard so no group pics, huh? :)
Fantastic Judy!

8ft right you are!! Mainly the pictures I have been taking are of the different blooms on one plant, it is amazing. I'm begining to believe it has to do with the environmental conditions at the time the bud set. Can you tell the difference in the blooms? In person it almost seems as if they should belong on different plants.

Notice part of my brug "junkyard" in the background, cuttings in a tub and other things.

hmmmmmmmm well no I don't think mine are small, but this is my first plant to bloom this year (Blush) and they are near 9 inches across, is that small??? We got alot of rain this evening, and I went out to check on the Brugs, the blooms aren't sticking straight out any longer, they are more normal, hanging down, don't know if it's on account of the rain or they are just lazy tonight LOL

I should take a picture with ruler so you can judge size better.
