Got carried away yesterday in my garden....I thought I had lost these Globba which were released 2 years ago....UP they came and just happened to have planted the coleus before they emerged.

Has anyone ever swam from Kansas to Hawaii????
If I make it,I'll be too tired to swim back,so Carol you'll have an extra hand to help weed around the nursery!!!!

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

I agree with everyone else. Love those globbas.
Hopefully, they are available here somewhere, if not, can I be on the list for seeds???
Also, is that orchids growing out the side of the tree in the second picture????
Hey, TropicMan, I'll race you!!! LOL!!!
Janet

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Janet...yes, it is a little orchid we got the first year here... DH carries the names around on the tip of his tongue....I only know it by 'Lady of the Night'...and when it blooms the fragrance is unbelievable!!! It has never really grown much...but blooms faithfully.

TM and Janet....we are the last rock on the left as you approach the islands!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

And look at the red bromeliads. All are incredible.

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

Guess I'd have to take the long way if I went through the gulf. I still think I can beat you, TM!!!!
Aloha, the orchids growing up the tree with the bromeliads is something we can only dream of over here. Congratulations!!! It looks so natural growing up the tree. Is it???

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

OH, yes...very natural. The moss grows everywhere...I just tear it off rocks and use it to air layer!!! It is so much easier growing epiphytes here cause we have lots of trees and not too much soil!!! and I tend to crowd them on trees around the house so that I can get them with a hose in case of a drought!!!
