variegated brug to send up a 'solid' shoot? I know that with hoyas it is common for a variegated vine to start putting out all gree or all white leaves. My Peaches and Cream sent up a shoot all green. Should I cut it off?

Carol, are we on the same page or what? The PC I've been ooohing and ahhhing about all year has a green shoot as well. I also debated removal but have decided to grow it out. The foliage and growth is as vigorous as PC and if it has the same flower power, I decided I could use one of those in the yard. I'm wondering if the green one would then send up a variegated shoot one day.
I know the standard recommendation is to remove any solid reversions from a variegated plant because they are more vigorous and will take over. Mine are all getting chopped up in a couple of months anyway, so big whoop.
Ahhhhh, I kinda figured. Since mine is a nice straigh shoot, I think I will cut it off and grow it out somewhere nearby and see how the two compare in size, growthrate and flowers.
Thanks.
Carol
